New College Snags a Top Rating in List of Top Education Values

New College of Florida is second only to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for the best education value among public colleges across the county, according to new rankings. School officials think the liberal arts school’s largest graduating class last year — a class that was also able to shorten the time it took to earn degrees — played a role in bumping New College from No. 3 in rankings formulated by The Princeton Review. The education company ranks both public and private colleges each year in many categories, and used mostly financial data and student surveys to create this year’s list.
