New College researchers present at Botany 2018 Conference

Assistant Professor of Biology Brad Oberle, New College Research Scholar and Selby Research Associate Brian Sidoti, along with New College students Elena Meyer, Liliana Benitez and Elizabeth White, presented their research at the Botany 2018 conference, held in Rochester, Minnesota, in late July.
All three students are alumnae of the Calusa Prize program, a collaboration between Selby Gardens and New College, giving students the opportunity to work with professional staff on plant science, conservation and public outreach and comes with a $25,000 award to students in degree programs at New College.
