New College Bell Tower Wins an Award

The bell tower at New College of Florida won a Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute Design Award for 2013. The awards were open to projects in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. The Robert & Beverly Koski Bell Tower and Academic Plaza won the Custom Solutions category. “The precast design allowed a structure with a forceful, spiraling, monolithic, ascending flow,” said Harmon H. Haley Jr., of Renker Eich Parks Architects, in St. Petersburg.
