FL Universities Make the Grade on Rankings by "Public Good"

The University of Florida is among the nation’s top universities in a new ranking based on “public good” put out by Washington Monthly magazine. UF also was the top-ranking school in the magazine’s “Best Bang for the Buck” category, in which Florida State University and the University of Central Florida also did well. […] New College of Florida did well in the liberal arts college list, placing 8th, and Valencia College was 36th on the community college list.
