Danielle Lois Fasig wins Elfreda Chatman Research Award
Congratulations to UNC at Chapel Hill School of information and Library Science (SILS) graduate student, Danielle Lois Fasig, who has won the SILS Elfreda Chatman Research Award for the spring of 2013 for her research proposal: “Usability Evaluation of Finding Aids for Archives.” Comments from the faculty committee that judged the nominations mentioned that her paper was “well-written with a clearly articulated problem statement, a well-defined and appropriate methodology and a high likelihood of contributing significant new information to our field.” Fasig has received a check for $150 for her research and will receive a certificate at the May graduation ceremony.
