It’s time to introduce PolicyMic’s new associate politics editor Tom McKay. Tom started out at PolicyMic as a paid writing intern, and impressed the team so much that we knew we had to take him on as an editor. Now, he’s here to work with all of you! … I went to New College of Florida. My senior year, I realized I hadn’t been taking advantage of all the cool stuff while living on the Gulf Coast. I took a lab on Marine Collecting and spent a semester throwing nets in the water (hermit crabs can grow much larger and pinchier than you think), and I joined the New College Bull Sharks, the diving group.
