Prevention and Health Promotion
The CWC office of Prevention and Health Promotion empowers students about health topics through knowledge and awareness to support their growing autonomy. Wellness is an active and ongoing process which involves becoming aware of and taking actions towards mastery of our own health.
Prevention and Health promotion provides programming to the campus community around general health topics. These programs can include individual meetings, small events, workshops, and campus-wide initiatives. The topics can include wellness, sexual health, healthy relationships, mental health, physical health, nutrition, and alcohol and other drugs. This office strives to work with New College and our local community to achieve a healthier campus.
