New College of Florida President Richard Corcoran is pleased to announce the President’s Inner Circle program and scholarship.
New College of Florida is at the forefront of the movement to reform higher education in America. A liberal arts education was always meant to elevate the individual student and society at large. Its foremost goal was the development of critical thinking skills, opening students to the broadest possible range of perspectives and encouraging them to ask piercing questions. Somewhere along the line, America’s most prestigious institutions lost their way. Today’s higher-ed reform movement provides the corrective.
At New College of Florida, our greatest passion is bringing a classical liberal arts education into the information age. We are out to become the finest liberal arts college in America. We are looking for the student leaders who can help us succeed.
Membership in the President’s Inner Circle comes with a full, four-year academic scholarship guaranteed to cover tuition, fees, room and board.*
Inner Circle students will enjoy exclusive brainstorming dinners with President Corcoran and other college leaders, as well as invitations to participate in Inner Circle programs and advisory committees in addition to other programs.
All Florida students looking to join our Freshman class at New College this Fall can qualify. If your GPA** is 4.0 or higher and you’ve scored 1400 or better on the SAT, 31 or better on the ACT, or 100 or better on the CLT, you’re most of the way there.
All that remains is:
- Ensuring that your admissions application is complete by April 1, 2025.
- Sending a 50-250 word statement of interest in the President’s Inner Circle to [email protected] by April 1, 2025.
- Making the enrollment and housing deposits necessary to claim your spot in both the New College class of 2029 and the President’s Inner Circle within two weeks (14 days) of your invitation to the Inner Circle.
Help reinvigorate a classical liberal arts education for the information age. Become part of the Inner Circle.
