Va. Colleges Garner Good Grades in New Kiplinger Affordability Index

The University of Virginia improved to the number two spot in “best value in public colleges” for students paying in-state tuition, in the annual Kiplinger ranking of the top 100 schools nationally, after having been ranked as No. 3 for several years. … The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill led the new ranking. Also in the top 10 were the University of Florida, University of Maryland College Park, University of California at Los Angeles, New College of Florida, the University of California at Berkeley, State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo and the University of California at San Diego.
