New College to Host Ivy League College Fair
Dozens of the area’s brightest high school students will be at New College of Florida for the seventh annual Suncoast Ivy League College Fair, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 12 at the Sudakoff Conference Center on the College’s Pei Campus.
High schools in Sarasota and Manatee counties invite their top students to attend the fair. The event’s organizers expect about 100 students to attend, where they will meet with alumni representatives from 13 colleges. The purpose is to inform local students of the colleges’ programs and their financial aid opportunities.
Who: The region’s most promising high school sophomores and juniors, as selected by their schools, and representatives of Barnard College, Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Georgetown University, Harvard University, Mount Holyoke College, New College of Florida, Princeton University, Smith College, University of Pennsylvania, Vassar College, Wellesley College and Yale University.
