Provost Vincent Price announced the appointment of Anita L. Allen, Henry R. Silverman Professor of Law in the Penn Law School and Professor of Philosophy in the School of Arts & Sciences, as Vice Provost for Faculty, effective July 1, 2013. … She earned a JD from Harvard Law School, a PhD and MA in philosophy from the University of Michigan, and a BA in philosophy, classics, and literature from New College of Florida.
