For the 12th consecutive year, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance has recognized New College of Florida as a top value in higher education. The magazine ranked New College 13th on its list of the 100 best values in public colleges for 2015.

“Balancing top-quality education with affordable cost is a challenge for families in today’s economy,” said Janet Bodnar, editor of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine. “The schools on the 2015 list offer students the best of both worlds.”

New College ranked 5th in the nation for the lowest total cost to in-state students after awarding need-based financial aid.

Kiplinger’s also ranked New College 11th in the nation for the lowest total cost for in-state students and ranked 12th  in the nation for the lowest total debt at graduation. New College also ranked 23rd among all U.S. colleges, public and private, in the southeast.

Kiplinger’s online database reported that New College’s 10:1 student-faculty ratio is one of the best among all U.S. colleges, public and private. The analysis also credited New College for its strong four-year graduation rate, high SAT scores among incoming students and generous financial aid.

The complete rankings are available online at kiplinger.com/links/college. The rankings will appear in print in the February 2015 issue of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, on newsstands in January.
