New College and Follett Celebrate Grand Opening of New On-Campus Bookstore

SARASOTA, Fla. — New College of Florida hosted a ribbon cutting event to mark the grand opening of the new on-campus bookstore.  The new bookstore, operated by Follett Higher Education, is the first on-campus bookstore in the College’s modern history. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

“Follett has been a dedicated partner for New College for many years, and the opening of a dedicated New College Bookstore is an important new stage as we continue to expand and fully utilize our campus,” said New College President Richard Corcoran.

New College had previously shared a bookstore with the University of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee. After consecutive years with record new-student enrollment, the demand for an on-campus hub to purchase textbooks, apparel, and other supplies has reached new heights. The location of the bookstore in the heart of the campus makes it particularly accessible to both the campus community and visitors.
