New Opportunity for Student Musicians at New College

There are exciting plans for growing music and performing arts at New College of Florida.

Starting this fall, New College will offer a course in music performance, where students will have the opportunity to play together in an ensemble.

This course is for any student with a passion for music, who has instrumental or vocal experience, and are looking for additional opportunities to practice and perform in an ensemble. 

Interested students who are interested should email Dr. Mark Dancigers, assistant professor of music, with their name and instrument, and plan to bring the instrument to campus this fall. Additional information about auditions and the announcement of a virtuoso performer and educator to direct the group will be provided.

Musicians of all levels are invited to audition.
