Community Outreach
A thriving college is one that is integrally involved in the community it calls home. At New College, we believe that community service not only develops caring active and aware citizens, but contributes in a myriad of ways to the neighboring communities and environments. We are committed to providing opportunities for our students to make that contribution, and welcome in equal measure the diverse efforts that the students themselves initiate and coordinate. New College is proud to be an active partner in a broad spectrum of community outreach and access programs, many of which are coordinated by the Americorps/VISTA volunteer coordinators based on campus.
