President's Welcome

Welcome to New College, the State of Florida's legislatively designated "Honors College for the Liberal Arts." 

At New College, we take the life of the mind seriously and believe that with great challenge also comes great reward.  Here, students and faculty work together to explore subjects and ideas in depth yet with a sense of personal freedom that allows students to pursue their own educational interests and goals in a directed, thoughtful and disciplined fashion.
